Provider certificates are eligible for renewal/refresher course, 3 months before or 3 months after the stated expiry date.

Yes, we can provide the class at your premises with a minimum of 8 participants. Kindly drop us an email at courses@sera.sg to find out more.

2. Frequently Asked Questions about Payment and Invoicing

Payment Methods

Participants can opt for a variety of payment methods. In the event you wish to opt for a payment method other than PayPal, please do the following:

  1. Register for the course that you are applying for on our website.
  2. Click “Register and Pay Online” and we will receive the registration information in our system.
  3. You will be directed to the PayPal page. Close the window.
  4. Email us at courses@sera.sg with your registration information and preferred mode of payment.

When you register for the course online, you will be automatically redirected to Paypal to make the payment online. This is highly recommended as it fuss-free and convenient for you to do so!

Bank Transfer
In the event you are unable to make payment via Paypal, you can also opt to do an online bank transfer of the payment amount directly to us. Do email us at courses@sera.sg for our bank details to facilitate the transfer.

For Payment via cheque. Please cross the cheque to Singapore Emergency Responder Academy.


We are able to submit e-Invoices to your organisation or school via Vendors@Gov. To do so:

  1. Register for the course that you are applying for on our website.
  2. Click “Register and Pay Online” and we will receive the registration information in our system.
  3. You will be directed to the PayPal page. Close the window.
  4. Email us at courses@sera.sg with the following information to request for the e-Invoice to be submitted:
    • Organisation:
    • Department:
    • Sub-Business Code:

  1. Register for the course that you are applying for on our website.
  2. Click “Register and Pay Online” and we will receive the registration information in our system.
  3. You will be directed to the PayPal page. Close the window.
  4. Email us at courses@sera.sg with the following information to request for a direct invoice:
    • Company Name as per UEN:
    • Company UEN:
    • Names of participants that you have registered for the course:
    • Indicate if you are applying for SSG Funding for the participants. If you are, please proceed to submit the SSG Funding application and inform us when you have done so.
    • Any other invoicing instructions:
  5. SERA will follow-up with an Invoice. If you have applied for SSG Funding for your participants, the Invoice sent will reflect the balance payable after factoring in the participants’ funding amounts.

SERA Courses Eligible for SkillsFuture Credit and SSG Funding

SERA is committed to lifelong learning and we are pleased to share that we have courses that are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit and SSG Funding.

Steps to Submit Your Skillsfuture Claim

Please note that your claim has to be submitted to Skillsfuture by the course start date. Skillsfuture will not allow claims to be made after the first day of the course.

Step 1) Register for the course that you are interested in on our website at www.sera.sg. After you register, you will be redirected to Paypal. You may exit this page as you will be using your Skillsfuture Credit to pay for the course.

Step 2) Check your email for the registration confirmation email. You can save this email as a .jpg or .pdf as this will be your supporting document to submit to Skillsfuture.

Step 3) Login to your Skillsfuture account at http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit using your Singpass.

Step 4) Click “Submit A Claim”

Step 5) To select the course that you are applying for, you can search by traning provider “Singapore Emergency Responder Academy” and you’ll be able to view our list of courses that are eligible for Skillsfuture Credit.

From the list above, choose the course that you are registering for.

Step 6) Fill in the mandatory information such as the Course Start Date, Amount of Credit to Claim and upload the Supporting Document which would be the email that was sent to you. Proceed to submit the claim.

Step 7) After you successfully submit the claim, you will receive an email from Skillsfuture to confirm that your claim has been received. Do forward the email (which will contain the  Claim Transaction ID and Amount Claimed) for our reference. Please note that if you do not do so, your registration will be marked as unpaid.

Email that you would receive from Skillsfuture to confirm your claim submission.

Applying for SSG Funding

We are pleased to share that Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who are above the age of 21 can qualify for Self-Sponsored SSG Funding for Individuals. 

Please see below for the steps to apply for this funding:

  1. Register the courses with us
  2. Please fill in the form here as all information is mandatory for us to submit the claim for you: sera.sg/ssgfunding
  3. You will require a password to fill in the form. The password is 2019SERA
  4. Based on the information that you have submitted, we will apply for SSG funding for you
  5. We will inform you of the outcome and the balance due payable by you
  6. For the balance due payable by you, you can make payment via Skillsfuture Credits, NETS, bank transfer or PayNow. Do advise which method you’d prefer.

Kindly note that the certificate for the course will be issued to you only upon successful completion of the course and receipt of the balance due payable by you.

*The following courses are not eligible for SSG Self-Sponsored Funding but are eligible for Skillsfuture Credits: 

  1. Basic First Aid with CPR+AED Course
  2. Basic First Aid Course
  3. Psychological First Aid Course

About WTS Fundings

WTS stands for Workfare Training Support Scheme. WTS encourages individuals to attend training to upgrade their work skills and improve their employability.

Eligible individuals may receive:

  • Course fee subsidy to lower training costs
  • Training allowance when training is relevant to their job and individuals had paid for their own training
  • A cash reward for completing training

To qualify, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Singapore Citizen; and
  • Aged 35 years and above (13 years and above for Persons With Disabilities); and
  • Earn an average gross monthly income of not more than $2,000 for the months worked.

SME or Non-SME?

You will need to create your company profile on https://skillsconnect.gov.sg and they will inform you about the type of profile that you have.

For your reference, an SME is one where:

SSG has updated the definition of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to align with that of SPRING Singapore. SMEs are now defined as companies with:
(i)      at least 30% local shareholding; AN
(ii)    Group annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million OR Group employment size of not more than 200 employees.
