First Aid Awareness Talks
First Aid Awareness Workshop
In this 2 hours workshop, you will learn how to respond and to provide first aid to medical emergencies in an office setting. These medical emergencies include fainting, seizure, stroke, heart attack and diabetic emergencies. Participants will also get to perform CPR and use the AED during the practical session.
CPR+AED Awareness Workshop
In this 2 hours workshop, you will learn the difference between heart attack and cardiac attack. You will learn how to approach a casualty who is suffering from heart attack and perform quality CPR and use the AED when the casualty collapsed.
Mental Health First Aid Awareness
In this 1 hour workshop, you will learn more about depression, anxiety attacks and warning signs of suicide. You will also learn how to approach a person when he or she is in distress or having a panic attack.

Dementia Awareness Talk
In this 1-hour Dementia Awareness Talk, you will learn more about onsets of dementia, the risk factors and how you can communicate with a person with dementia effectively.
Why Dementia Awareness?
In a recent survey by Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA), nearly 3 in 4 persons with dementia feels ashamed and lonely. The respondents who participated in the survey also feel uncomfortable interacting with persons with dementia. Furthermore, almost 44 per cent of these respondents felt frustrated with not knowing what to do.
By knowing how to communicate with them effectively, we can show better support to these individuals!
Stress Management Workshop
In this 1 hour workshop, you will learn how to identify signs of stress, ways to cope with stress and how to approach a person who is going through a stressful period.
What is Stress?
Contrary to what some individuals may feel, stress does not come from events that happen. Rather, stress comes from how we view the events. Have you noticed that some people seem to be able to handle stress better than others, even though they may all be facing the same situation? This is due to the difference in perspectives that they have towards the external event.
Anger Management Workshop
In this 1 hour workshop, you will learn how to identify causes of anger, understand what triggers and maintains anger and how to avoid or reduce these triggers. You will also learn how to approach an individual who is going through a stressful moment.
Why Anger Management?
Everyone gets angry from time to time and it is a normal human emotion. However, if anger gets out of control, it may cause potential damages to an individual’s daily activities, important relationships in his/her life and overall well-being. Others around him/her may also be negatively affected.
Basic Counselling Workshop
In this 8 hours workshop, you will learn:
1. Essentials of a Para-counsellor
2. The Counselling Process using Problem-Solving Framework (PADI)
3. To Understand Mental Illness such as psychosis, depression and anxiety attacks
4. Suicide Risk Assessment and Management
Theory Assessment: 80% score requirement (30 Multiple Choice Questions, 2 attempts allowed)
